Fruit themed toymaker Apple has issued a software update for the iPad asserting that it, like the iPhone4, will witness a better wireless performance.
The story of the iPad Wifi, like the gizmo itself, is a mirror image of the iPhone4. Shortly after the cappuccino company debuted its iPhone sans a phone, users complained of its poor wi-fi reception that lead to frequent disconnections with access points. Unlike the iPhone, iPad did not have a revolutionary wrap around the antenna, something that Apple willfully ignored.
With this recent software update users will now experience an improved wi-fi connectivity. This is a good news, given that the majority of iPad users have to rely on wireless networking to transfer data onto the device.
The company claims to have fixed and addressed issues related to copy and paste in emails and the reliability of a video dongle that it forces users to shell out £25 to purchase.
Bit hang on, there’s more. Users weary of Google’s search results can now opt for Microsoft’s Bing search engine.
Apparently, Apple believes that a few line of codes can fix its hardware defects.
